While the 49ers practiced special teams, coach Mike Singletary lay on his back with his legs pumping in a bicycle motion. He looked like an expiring insect.

Alex Smith goes deep downfield to Crabtree. It wasn't pretty (underthrown), but the receiver ends up with the ball in his hands.

What's up with all the under-thrown balls by Smith? Didn't ppl smash Hill for the very same reason?

WR Michael Crabtree
Can Alex Smith not throw a f**king legit pass to his WRs?
Maybe.
But sometimes you just need guys who can make "legit" catches.
seriously, those QBs throwing those passes must have sucked. I mean just look at how it's not in the receiver's bread basket.

Hehe. My thoughts exactly. Sometimes you WANT to make the receiver go up for it so the defender can't get to it. If QBs always threw at the numbers, there would be a lot more interceptions.
Love those pictures

Want to is the key word. Alex Smuth doesn't always want to throw it high but it just happens.

I will give you that, but he has definitely improved. His first few years I was always complaining about high throws. Last year I don't recall nearly as many of those times.

Im interested to see who sits out the mandatory last 3 days.
Primary beneficiaries: R. Jean-Francois, K. Paymah, A. Brooks, and T. Laboy. All four of those guys could be opening day starters if some of the contract situations go downhill.
