Yeah and it sold out awhile ago. I know someone who got on the waitlist a few weeks ago and they still haven't heard back.

I signed up about a month ago and got 4 tickets. This will be my first Family Day as well.
So are they strict about what we can bring in (footballs, camera's, Video camera's, etc)? Also do we gotta pay for autographs?

Every other year, you'd just walk right into the stadium, so no, they weren't strict at all. Apparently you need tickets this year, so I don't know if they'll be checking your belongings, but the things you mentioned should be fine.
Oh and autographs are free if you're willing to wait in long lines.

I know it starts at 10am but do people recommend getting there maybe 1 to 2 hours early?

Yes you might wanna leave early. When i went a couple years ago, we got there around 8 and the line was already long...

I think we'll get there about 8 as well then. So do what do you recommend we do first once we get in? I'm assuming once you enter the stadium there's all sorts of stuff you can see or do. What lines get the longest to do that we should do early?

Anyone who's gone to previous Family Day's know if we can bring backpacks in? Are they strict at this event? I wanted to maybe bring some water in as well as items that I would like to get autographs on and probably camera's.

Me and my friend went, it was awesome! Right when we walked in we took pictures at the spot of "The Catch" and some camera people stopped to interview us at the spot, we ended up appearing on the jumbo screen and everything. In terms of players that was there, Navorro Bowman, Mike Iupati, Anthony Dixon, Nate Byham, and Tom Rathman, is who I got to sign. But there was probably others that I either didn't recognize or see.
Coach Singletary was also there being interviewed, he signed very few things, I didn't get a chance to get his autograph.
Here's a link to my album from today. I made it public so hopefully you guys can see it, sorry it's on my Facebook.
