The San Francisco 49ers announced on Wednesday that this year’s Family Day presented by The San Francisco Chronicle | SFGate.com will be held at Candlestick Park on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., offering fans of all ages a FREE, up close and personal experience with their favorite team.

Looking forward to seeing the team.
Went 2 years ago and had a blast just being on the field. I'm planning on going this year.
last year sucked because crabtree didn't show up

If he did show up, he'd probably charge $20 an autograph, $40 for a picture.
I went there last couple of years. They need to actually have some players who will actually make the team.

Yah it was cool standing on where "the catch" happened.

People were getting autographs from camp fodder guys. I was like no way Im not gonna have scrub player ruin my football. lol
I'm thinking about going over to the family day event this year. I live in Los Angeles but have family in Fremont. If I head up there the day before then leave from Fremont for the event on Saturday, how do you guys think the traffic situation will be. I know traffic is horrible on game day, but how will it be for family day?

Theres literally no traffic concerns on Family Day. Saturday morning, no one will be on the road and its far fewer people than on gameday there.

Did you already get a ticket on 49ers.com? Its still free this year but the event has a capped number of tickets they give out and its already sold out. I think you can still get on the wait list.

I might go this year I'm not sure. It would be cool to meet taylor mays though, and take a picture with him and post it so valrod gets jealous
Didn't get a chance to go last year so I'm going this year I can't wait. I'm bringing my friend who is a new niner fan (Converted from being a long time Raider fan) and he is pumped!
My wife and I are going to family day and then leaving from there and going to Giants/A's game that evening at AT&T. Should be a great day.
