Play by Play breakdown of the Titans game..

I took the time give a breakdown of each play of the niners loss to the Titans. After review the game was a lot closer than I originally thought. It's amazing how it really does come down to those little things that Singletary is always talking about, after the summary you might see what I'm talking about.

I have also included the 49ers offensive package before the down and distance via the numerical system:

Unless you are a masochist you should skip the first half of the Rams game. The only two players who did anything in the 1st half were the punters.

While I can appreciate your efforts here, there's a disturbing lack of insight on what you are observing from each play. I realize that such insights would require an awful lot of work... but without it, anyone can pull up similar info from sites, such as ESPN's play-by-play after each game in the box scores.

sure, the hardest thing is that I'm pulling this from the broadcast recording, without any downfield angles it's really hard to identify coverages and impossible to know route combos, or even how well guys blocked. I wish I could get a hold of the coaches film, but, I can't. on only about a third of the pass plays could you for sure tell if it was even man or zone coverage, and without a view of the safeties you can't be sure what the coverage truly is. My hope was to give a situational recap of personnel packages and results while trying to be objective. If a guy clearly got beat I reported it, if it was ok, I said nothing.

Same, all i remember was Vince Young running in my side of the endzone and Alex throwing those picks... and the godamn F*cking sun shining all up in my face during most of the game.

My hope was to give a situational recap of personnel packages and results while trying to be objective. If a guy clearly got beat I reported it, if it was ok, I said nothing.

Yeah, I hear you. Better to not spout info out that you are unsure of. I did a breakdown during the year on many games... included each play, and then gave a little on who did what...

( like which OL gave up penetration... how much time the QB had... which OL failed his run block assignment... which defender missed a tackle or got shoved out of a rush lane, etc )

That's what I found lacking in your OP (just FYI), but I understand it takes a lot of time and multiple "rewinds". Still, I applaud your efforts.
