By the way, not to take anything away from the great Patrick Willis, but Aubrayo Franklin and Justin Smith were the real MVPs on our defense last year, so no way Willis is team MVP. He's still our best player, but last year I feel VD aHD the two I mentioned were more deserving.

Vernon tied an NFL record for touchdowns in a season by a TE, pretty impressive considering he was sent off the field last year. We've been waiting for him to produce and he finally did, all while being a team leader and a class act. My vote goes to Vernon this year.

i dont think VD should get it yes he tied the nfl record for TE for TD and probally wouldve beat it if alex started whole season but he dropped way too many passes some which couldve changed the game and made a loss to win to become an mvp
