how are those amounts determined?
As in why do the Rams get so much while the Bears get peanuts? Not sure how these allocations work.

Rams have top pick meaning more money. Bears had only a couple picks and no picks in top 3 rds? so they don't need much

goes by amount and positioning of picks, reason Rams got highest is #1 picks in each round.
Jets got 2nd lowest due to 4 picks and 1 1st rd pick
Bears lowest cause of 1 3rd and 1 4th and 3 other picks.

draft picks command certain salaries based on where they were picked. so the Rams having to pay a number 1 overall pick, and the earliest pick of every round, their total cost of paying their draft class is going to be higher than the Bears, who didnt have many high picks to pay.
we were higher on the list because we had to give 2 guys 1st round money. the number 1 overall pick team is probably going to be atop the list every year.
imo having a really early pick is only valuable for the first 2-3 rounds, and then the talent kind of drops off, and everyones opinions and values disperse and it becomes a crap shoot.
