The Saints were quick and swooped him up before we could resign him. The knew getting him was the only chance they had at repeating.

Signing Willis to an extension is big in a lot of ways because now we can use the franchise tag on Vernon Davis or extend Davis and use it on Dashon Goldson or vice versa. Very good news today and a very deserving extension for the best linebacker in the NFL.

I bet old timers are probably pissed at what these guys make today. Those guys made peanuts to what guys make now.

I think it has to be Vernon...and it will happen. He wants to play for Singletary and also knows the offense is primed to step up...and he should be a big part of that.

Yeah Barkley was on tv the other day and was talking bout his mom had him 15 years to early when talking about how much guys are making these days.

I'd like to see us get Vernon locked up, maybe a 5 year 40 mil contract?
