Crabtree 1200 yards, 11 TDs
Morgan 700 yards, 5 TDS
Ginn 700 yards 4 TDs
Davis 1000 yards 10 TDs
D. Walker 400 yards 3 TDs
Hill/Jones/Williams 500 yards 2 TDs

That would be quite a year for A. Smith to don't you think?

as awesome as that would be.. i see it more like

crabtree 1050 yards 6 tds
morgan 600 yards 2 tds
ginn 300 yards 1 td
davis 850 yards 8 tds
walker 200 yards 1 td
other wrs/tes 150 yards 2 tds
+
running backs 500 yards 4 tds

now give and take a little and thats around 3600 yards and 24 tds.. if alex can pull that off and keep his INTs under 15 while at the same time we keep a consistent running game.. this team should absolutely make the playoffs.

Predictions aren't worth the electrons they're written on, but FWIW I have a hunch Ginn and maybe even Williams (assuming he makes the team and plays slot) amass more yards than Morgan this year. Williams will be a more frequent target, and Ginn's catches could average >20 YPC. Hard to say who will get the most TDs...our playbook will call for lots of underneath stuff, including play action passes, and only Ginn has the speed to consistently outrun defenders...but I'm hoping a better OL and the addition of Dixon will mean a large bump in rushing TDs once we're in the red zone.

Morgan is inconsistent, but the coaching staff love him. Jason Hill has not been given a chance to compete against Morgan.

I am excited to see Kyle Williams and his explosiveness coming from the slot.

i think VD will have more than 8 td he should have at least 10 however your yds and every one elses tds seem pretty accurate to me

true but kind of like the running backs, who everyone says are the same style players, so are the receivers...tallest receiver on roster is 6-2, in a time when 6-4 or 6-5 guys are tearing up the league

Steve Smith and Wes Welker do not approve of this post.

I can live with your revisions. I just see Smith having a much better year due to knowing the system, better Oline, more time with his receivers, more speed in the WRs, and hopefully better play callling by both Raye and Smith. I also predict better knowledge by Crabtree, Morgan, Davis, and the addition of Ginn. So I see a highly productive offense between 3500 yards to 4000 yards and nearer to 30-35 TDs. Just my opinion about our offense this year.
It seems so long ago that we had the worst receiving corps by far. Brandon Lloyd, Darrell Jackson, Arnez Battle, and Cedric Wilson were all our #1's or #2's at some point. They're #4's on pretty much any other team.

Holy $H!t!!! I really think that is going to be pretty unrealistic to have Alex throw for 3600 yards with a run first mentality by the coaches. I'm not gonna break it down by player but I expect our passing to be around 2000-2500 yards, rushing about 2000 yards.

Alex threw for 2,350 yards in 10.5 games last year

3600 yards is only 225 yards per game. I think that is entirely plausible. I'd say gore will be more around 1400 yards at most because I expect more balance this year and Frank's usual 2 game absence (probably about 200-300 yards rushing from people other than gore) .

But if the team can average 230 yds/game passing and about 120 yds/ game rushing, that would be 350 yards total per game and put us in the top 15 in offense (according to last year's stats). That would be awesome.

Wow you are way off IMO. Alex threw for 2,350 yds last year and Hill 943. Thats 3,293 yds we passed for last year. Now we add more weapons and watched VD and Crabs bloom and we are going to pass less?

Alex will have anywhere from 3,500 - 4,000 yds this year. He avg 213.6 yds a game last year. Over a 16 game season that equals 3,418 yds.

Id say you are coming up short by about 1,000- 1,500 yds.

25% improvement over last year would be about 53 yards a game. That would be about 267 yards a game passing. That is 4270 over the season.
