Smart if you ask me... Although I would have prefered him a 49ers, he has a better chance starting with the Titans now that L. White is with Seattle. Can't fault him for that...

He's a poor mans Lendale White. He'll eat himself out of the league just like Lendale almost did. Jeff Fisher can't control this hothead. If anyone could do it, it'd be Singletary. Good luck to the next Titans castoff.

First off Lendale didn't eat himself out of the league. He almost DRANK himself out of the league. Last summer he lost 25 pounds because he gave up Patron.......Im almost impressed he used to drink that much Patron.

Secondly BFD with Blount. Lazy, big dude with a bad attitude. We have no need for him. Dixon is a stud. Gore is the man, maybe Coffee will get better. I'm not worried about us. Let him be Tennesse's problem. To me this is a non-story.
ESPN is really making a big deal out of this. I have been watching espn for the past hour and they just keep on bringing it up. What's the big deal? I don't get all the hype over a udfa changing his mind and going to another team.
Don`t want a guy on the team who is afraid to compete for a job, so long Blount.

Fisher: LeGarrette Blount Deserves a Second Chance

In announcing the undrafted free agents signed by the Tennessee Titans, coach Jeff Fisher made a special point of referencing the one who enters the NFL with the most notoriety: LeGarrette Blount.

After Oregon's season-opening loss to Boise State, Blount punched a Boise player and was benched for most of the rest of the season. Fisher said he knows people will scrutinize Blount but that he thinks the Titans are doing the right thing by giving him a shot.

"Obviously Blount's signing will create some discussion out there," Fisher said in a statement released by the team. "Before making this decision, we talked to a number of people, including LeGarrette and others who know him. He was disciplined for his actions and then met all of the landmarks set in front of him to remain with the team and eventually play again. He was a good college football player, who after talking to a number of people, merits a second chance."

At the same time, Fisher indicated that the Titans wouldn't be giving Blount a third chance.

"Certainly LeGarrette should understand consequences at this point," Fisher said, "and we have explained what our expectations are for him to be successful with this opportunity."

After the Titans traded LenDale White to Seattle, Blount has a decent chance of making the roster as a backup to Chris Johnson.

what does it stand for???

why do you worry about this player??? he wont eat himself out of the league...he will punch himself out. goodell hates undiscplined players and he wont tolerate such a behaviour...

I just cant wait to see the Titans lose their first game and someone talk s**t to Blount.
