... three amazing speedsters. This is pretty obvious to everyone but I think that our overnight improvement in the return game deserves its own thread. I mean, one of these guys has to work out for us. Here's hoping for no fumbles and a year of Sports Center Top 10 Plays...

Agreed. Ginn hasn't been a good punt returner, so they need to keep Vann or Williams in addition to Ginn. And put the third on the PS.

Our return game is gonna be scary good! I was kinda bummed we released rossum! But this offseason sure made up for it! And one helluva draft to add to it as well! Time will tell!

I think Vann would be the best to keep for returns between him and Williams. The only problem i see is that Vann doesn't really have a position...what would he play for us besides KR/PR? Williams could be a slot guy.

How did Williams fall to the 6th round? He looks like a solid WR in those clips. Did he have off the field issues?

if they dont feel comfortable with Mays at the begining of the season he could make some mean downfield blocks i bet.I think we were a decent KR/PR squad from 2to 3 more victorys. At least we should get some better field position and 3pts hopefully better

I think they should try to make Vann into a 3rd down receiving WR/RB. Just a guy who can take a screen here and there or line up in the slot every now and then. Just get him the ball in space basically.

Of course, I want to see his shiftyness on display vs. some real competition first...

This was a very deep draft...which played to our 6th round picks. I like our first two rounds, but the last picks and free agents got me kinda hyped for training camp. That dude CHRIS MARAGOS from wisconson got some explosiveness as a safety. Wow free agency after the draft has plenty of value

I agree with this, I reckon Williams will make the team as a WR, possibly at the expense of Hill or Jones. I know he is a 6th round pick so I should be hesitant in saying he will be great, but I reckon he is a sleeper pick for the 49ers.

Vann will stay as a return specialist, have Ginn returning kicks and as a WR, and Williams as a WR who can back up both, and add speed to the WRs (4.30 at his pro day)

Vann didn't show much agility in any of his runs on that vid. Dude bursts out of the gates no doubt, and he's got decent speed, but I didn't him shake anybody out of his socks. not to say that he's not capable, I just didn't see it. He still looks like our most promising PR though.

Ginn should do KR and Vann PR b/c Ginn fumbled 8 times in 2 years on PR and we can't have that again like last year. But either way i see Vann making the team and Williams probably PS unless we cut one of our 4th or 5th wr's
