And unfortunately for Alex, he is one of the fattest chicks in the NFL.
Maybe Alex went to Weight Watchers in the off-season and Clausen has genital herpes.

Certainly plausible, because after getting our backup Qb, i don't really believe we have any interest whatsoever in claussen. I still think if one of the top 2 OTs can be had we may actually do the opposite and draft up. Much as we need a starting OT, we sure don't need another project. Sure, i know of OTs drafted in late rds, maybe 4, 5 of them, but that is rare, NOT commonplace. For us to get the one biggest need on this team i would be inclined to draft up, not back , but i would be advertising that we are thinking of trading back. That's what it seemed like walsh always did. Said one thing prior to draft and then did the opposite on draft day. We aren't gonna fix our OL with an OT after slot 5,6, maybe 7 or 8. I could see us getting our OG, Iupati at or near 17, maybe even as low as 14, 15.

What if Baalke likes more cushion for the pushin? Then Alex is his fat chick or not? It's not over till the fat lady sings right? What if she lost some weight? WTF is going on

But if they leaked fake interest, wouldn't that mean a team would have to trade up in front of us to draft Clausen?? Or we maybe looking too much into it and we could in fact be interested in Clausen.
Every time the staff showed interest in two players narrowed down by the Zone we seem to pick'em. Hard to tell this year, it seems our draft board is all over the place. From the looks of it, the board seemed to narrow it down to CJ Spiller and best available OT. But now that we have Ginn it just seems like BPA period.

Redskins seem to be doing the same thing, reporting that they will take a QB

Because they need one. I wouldn't count on McNabb for the long run, IMO they are in a perfect position to take a franchise QB.

But without any other draft capital they literally would be putting all their eggs in the McNabb basket

I have a weird feeling the Patriots may trade with us to grab Dez Bryant. They have so many 2nd Rounds Picks. They could definitely do it. And, historically, they make lots of trades. I could see it happening.
You heard it here first! haha

I don't want Clausen, was watching espn with Gruden and Clausen reviewing his game tape..when gruden pointed something wrong about what was he was doing wrong, hes say he got lazy on the play. I dont want a Qb that gets lazy on a play. He didnt really impress me in college either

If it is Baalke's attempt at a smoke screen, it doesn't seem to have fooled most of you. Why would Baalke insult the intelligence of the NFL's other personnel men? Does he think they are more stupid than webzoners, and would fall for it?

Creating a market for their picks so they can hopefully trade back with one of them. I think this is incredibly smart. If we can trade back in the 1st and get an extra pick, go for it. 17th Pick, 25th or so Pick, and an extra 2nd or 3rd? Hell yea. If this truely is a smoke and mirrors thing, I applaud Baalke. Smart move.
Thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

Hopefully the 18 teams behind us will be fooled into making a move when they don't have to. Too bad the Rams and Seahawks pick before us. Would love to PWN them

I'm willing to trade up and grab Ot with the rams, what would the trade difference be i'd like to keep are 17th and trade future picks off and land a guy who can help alex. 13th plus future picks and brandon jones mark roman. I hope sing becomes a hall of fame coach and player i think he's got it! lets go out and get him what it takes to put the best product on the field and give this team a chance for greatness!
