With all the talk of the Niners needing to bring home a returner this season, could Ted Ginn Jr. be a realistic option??
If the Dolphins are dangling him for a 4th or 5th round pick (or lower), might that be worth it??
He has speed, would be dynamic in the return game, and could add an intriguing new weapon to the offense out of the slot.
I'm not saying trade a high round pick for the guy, but if a mid-late round pick is good enough, then why not?

ya ginn is a good returner, had a game last year with 2 returns for td's in 1 game, just not sure if the 49ers will do this move, they dont seem to be agressive towards free agents, let alone tradin a pick for someone

Typically 1st round picks want 1st round money, whether they're any good or not. Ginn's not much of a receiver (too many drops), but he is a pretty good returner. I think the 49ers would be better off drafting a KR/PR somewhere in the middle or late rounds, though, and save the money that they'd otherwise have to use on Ginn to re-sign guys like Willis and Davis.

Lot of Q's whether 49ers are interested in some vets. My guesses: "No" on Ted Ginn, and "hell no" on Brandon Marshall and Pacman Jones.

agree...if we can get him for a 5th rounder...that would free up our other picks to draft other needs.
