Smiley was the real head-scratcher, but the dude had knee issues so...
But hey, we took Chilo Rachal over DeSean Jackson. That makes TOTAL sense.

hooray for hindsight 20-20 vision.. no one liked Smiley no one liked Kosier .. hell .. no one even knew who Harvey Dahl WAS ... but it was a mistake letting them all go!!!

49ers also have a tendancy to not pay big money to guards, so in smileys case he was banged up his last 2 years with the team, team decided they werent gonna pay him and once free agency started it took smiley about 10 min to sign with the dolphins
