It's a result of a number of things... primarily, not having to worry about his shoulder as well as feeling the continuity with scheme and players. He's finally shaking off the "Nolan control-freak" syndrome and taking charge.

agreed, I knew something was goign to be different that season because he was getting the ball out and had the balls to throw that block. (if you remember in preseason the wr's dropped all of smittys throws, but call of shauns... granted we ran the ball 89% of the time, so neither got a chance to really show anything.)
