If you do the math of all the qb's in the league you would notice that he posted good numbers compared to alot of the leagues so called great qb's! The play calling was a big part of us not being able to finish!!

Quick example: Matt Ryan 203 comps, 17tds, 2208 yards. Drew Brees 253 comps, 21tds, 2988 yards. Tom Brady 215 comps, 16tds, 2674 yards. Eli Manning 216 comps, 16 tds, 2631 yards. Alex Smith 225 comps, 18tds, 2350 yards!! Now tell me where he fall way short in any of those categories. And all of those qbs are in a set system unlike Alex Smith who's team is just finally gelling!
