From what Ive been seeing and hearing is, there is a buzz around the NFL about Nate Davis. Now, does he get any reps if we are up by 20 in the 4th Quarter? or if Smith is hurt and for some strange reason Carr cannot play either? or what if he shows that he should be the starter for our team, I mean he possibly could be better than Carr at this point, maybe better than Smith come preseason, I mean Nate isnt that far behind like everyone is making it seem.

"A buzz around the NFL" about a third string low draft pick qb? Don't they have anything else to talk about?

if he gets regular season reps it means our season is f'd. Two more years of grooming.

Unless he drastically improves during the offseason and compete for starting QB position and wins, he is not going to see a game during regular season. If we see him during the regular season we are either blowing a team up or some bad crap is happening to our team.

I'm actually really excited about Davis's situation. He'll have time to sit back, develop, and see if he can turn into anything good. If not, the Niners didn't spend much on him.
Hopefully he pulls a Steve Young someday.

NO.
I like the guy, but the coaches have Smith and Carr ahead of him.

Those who think highly of Davis should be troubled by the signing of Carr. Unless we are missing something, Carr was brougth in to be #2 (or #1) then he will stand in the way of Davis' chances. If Smith falters, Carr is more likely the one to be sent in, not Davis.
