2005- 2nd rd Baas G, 3rd rd Snyder
2007-1st rd Staley
2008 2nd rd Chilo, 4th rd Cody Wallace
Also, I noticed we have had even weaker drafts the last two years since McCloughan has had the final say on our picks. 2005-07 was Nolan with the final word but Since 08' McCloughan has had the final word and results have been weak.
In 09'
1 10 10 Michael Crabtree
3 10 74 Glen Coffee
5 10 146 Scott McKillop
5 35 171 Nate Davis
6 11 184 Bear Pascoe
7 10 219 Curtis Taylor
7 35 244 Ricky Jean-Francois
In 08'
1 29 29 Kentwan Balmer
2 8 39 Chilo Rachal
3 12 75 Reggie Smith
4 8 107 Cody Wallace
6 8 174 Josh Morgan
7 7 214 Larry Grant
Both drafts have produced players no longer on the team or backups!
Look at 08', 1st round reach, sketchy G in the 2nd and a #2 or 3 WR in the 6th.
Look at 09' No brainier 1st round WR, and backups after that.
If we are building through the draft we better come up with batter talent than we have been drafting the last 2 years.
We have holes all over the line: JStaley- weak LG- Hietman (didnt draft) - sketchy RG Chilo - RT ??
What a joke of a line!
