Can our team win the NFC West with our current Offense?

with warner calling it quits, and all the cardinals lost in free agency i would say we are for sure the favorites to win the nfc west. We need to imrove our line, but we still got the best squad in the nfc west.
We better get better play from our line and QB

Having a speedster to change the pace would help too
With our current offense - no. But with this off season, an improved Oline throught the offseason and through the draft, more development between Smith, Davis, Crabtree, and Morgan, and the development of Coffee and our new draft picks, our offense can win the NFC West.
only if we get a legit RT in the draft

If the offense cant block, they can’t make first downs, if they can’t make first downs they can’t score points, and if they can’t score points then they can’t win. Simple as that, I don't care how good the defense is. The belief that defense wins championships is just a myth. The suggestion that an offense that can't stay on the field can wear down a defense is a fact.

Talent upgrade on the OL is needed, but think back to last season, and the Reasons the OL struggled. A rash of injuries, which resulted in multiple position changes, plus a180% change in philosophy as how to implement the offense , that had been put in place back in OTA's.Now consider switching QB's with opposite skill sets, coming up with a new spread offense, no one had practiced. No familiarity between QB. and WR. plus a green rookie learning new plays weekly.Lets reflect more and react less.

Ratto is full of something, but it ain't insight.
It's not rocket science...teams with strong OL's and DL's (and good quarterbacks) win championships.

Winning the West is a start, but that shouldn't be the goal. Playing in the Super Bowl should be what the 49er's are aiming for.

Given the makeup of the current roster, it's about a 2-3 year window.

The same can be said for about 10 teams in the NFL.

IF by what you mean by offense is philosophy and playing to A.Smith's strengths for the first time, yes. Increase his comfort level by using the shotgun, and use Crabtree And VD to their potential, will help reduce the run stuffing defenses and run blitzes, so F.Gore has more lanes to run in. Even with the injuries to the OL last yr. we played the division tuff.

Offense led by Alex Smith = NO

why not... it's not like we have tried to do a spread offense based on him... and the style of play that was recommended for him and he was used to. When we did the spread with him it worked out pretty well...imagine with a better line.... except Raye would call all the predictable crap till we got behind and bring out the Spread in the last half...
