If he was better than Morgan he would be playing. Is it so hard to accept that he just isn't a great player?

Hill is faster than Morgan, but has no strength whatsoever.
Morgan is slow , but has some hands.

Man, we need some real receivers, instead of hyping up overrated guys like Hill.

1. I never said he was better than Morgan.
2. The best guy isn't always on the field.
3. Stats backup my argument that when on the field, he's arguably more productive.
4. I could give a rats ass about Jason Hill. I'm calling it like I see it. Morgan isn't clearly better than ANY other starting WR in the NFL.

Tell me about it. Morgan isn't even all that good. Crabtree is the only legit WR we have.

i agree it seems when he has been given the chance he has done well. See the skins game 2 years ago and the titans game this last year. He or Jones could be our #2 and #3 while splitting some time with Morgan esp on running plays. Also, Morganm is really good at returning kickoffs, if we get a player this year to return kicks/punts then at least we have goiod depth at wr after crabtree

Although i quoted you, my post was more in general for people who think Hill should start or play over Morgan and anyways....
Jason Hill's sample size is way too small to make any blanket statements like he is "arguably more productive than Morgan" Obviously whether its during camp or preseason or whatever the coaching staff clearly thinks Morgan is better than Hill.

Raye and Sing can easily put him on the field more if they so choose. They are higher up on the food chain than Sully so obviously he isn't doing something right on the practice field and off the field.
You give sing too much credit. sing is just an idiot. This is the same guy who calls Pep Rally Timeouts. He doesn't know what he is doing on personnel either.
Your not giving coach enough credit. Hes going to be leading this team to the playoffs....
I think Sing has the drive and potential to be great.. Keyword is potential.. So don't me wrong here, but, get us to the playoffs? I'll believe that when it happens.. Not drinking the playoff Kool-Aid again.. Did last year, did it in 2007, not happening this year...
Like their slogan says, "Don't tell me, show me........."

Grigga, while i don't agree that bigMike is an idiot, i felt from the moment he was skip jump hired as HC that the york's once again blew it. He would have fit in well as a DC, and altho not prepared for that job, due to his sole learning experience being under noln, (both back east and here), in time he could have grown into a good DC coach. But do yorks do that? Hell no, they make him a HC! With his bare bones resume of being a LB coach, and then watching and learning as noln just destroyed this team, you have to wonder , besides idol worship, just what the yorks(and probably just jed) were thinking.
A HC with experience as LB coach, no experience with OL, DL, DBs, RBs, OCs, QBs, WRs, TEs, ST...i mean, what in the world were the york's thinking? To expect bigMike to instantly become a competitive HC, is just plain unfair to him, and stupid from an owners's standpoint. It is almost like , well, they had just fired the worst coach in the league, and now they replace him with one with virtually no preparation for HC. Great motivator, yes. Great guy, dignified, rock solid on integrity, but just pathetically underexperienced for a HC. Sheesh, what a bunch of idiots we have as owners(duh...that isn't news). Just think about how many points/game we give up at the coaching slot, each game against Sean Payton, tom moore(colts), Jets, Bellicheat, Ravens, Atlanta...to name but a few.
By hiring bigmike, the yorks basically said "please fix the mess noln created", but they also gave away the farm when we play against top notch coaches. We are a maximum 1-playoff -game -and -gone team with bigmike, or anyone else here coaching, who doesn't have the creds, the experience, or the coaching connections. Bigmike's best was to hire an OC (for continuity) but who will always be outcoached by the teams noted above. This is not bigMike's fault. It is the owners.
Just simple things like announcing to the nfl we are gonna run it down their throats on a team lacking just 3 starters on the OL? We have starters in staley, maybe sims, and maybe rachal. The rest are okay backups...and bigMike really believed we were gonna ram the ball. Hah! Well he learned a lesson there, and he changed, but you get an idea of the futility of our HC. He is going to make zillions of mistakes that he should/could have learned if he had come up thru the ranks. Being one of the world's best motivators is great...if you have the coaching experience to back it up. Simply, bigMike doesn't.
Take us to the promised land? You gotta be kidding.

If we got a new GM today, half the players on the roster would be gone.

Hill is an enigma to me. He was very productive coming out Washington with a very mediocre QB, yet he hardly sees the field here. There must be something happening off the field that we don't see.
