I don't think Jed York is so bad. He's grown up with this team. I think we're moving in the right direction.

I'd hold up a "You don't have to sell the team but please just give it to Jed and stay out of it" sign

At the end of the day Jed York is not in charge. He doesn't sign the pay checks. Even if he wanted to he still needs to ask mommy and daddy. I'm not saying he is a bad owner/president. He just really doesnt have any money of his own. In addition, the Yorks are too broke to own a championship football team. In an uncapped years we should be spending money, not declaring we will have a self impossed cap. What a joke.
P.S. Lets go get our Spiller option B (Thomas Jones, Sproles, Taylor, Jamal Lewis).

The YORKIES are in the bottom 3 - 5 in the league for ownership. The Lion and the Raider are worse but not too many others.

Please sell the team Mr. York. You don't have what it takes to be an owner of an NFL franchise.

I'm not debating you necessarily, but how would you define that? I think they went through some growing pains early (trying to be cheap), but I think they have started to come around. I just dont think they are wealthy enough.

what do you people want? you want to go out and sign antrel rolle for $8 mil a year? or sign julius peppers for $18 mil per year?
this isn't madden and they aren't playing with monopoly money. i get that YOU and i as fans "dont care" about the money they spend as it doesn't affect us. but what you guys don't understand is that this is still a business.
our team has gotten better and if you look at our starter on offense and defense we have a lot of players that WE drafted and didn't go out and overspend on an adam archuletta or a matt cassel or a million of the others players that the talking heads on this board wanted us to trade for or sign or whatever.
the yorks have come a looooooooooong way since they took over.

You know he owns the team right? I'm not quite sure what the intention of your post is.
And spending money does not necessarily correlate into building a championship football team. At the end of the day, football is still a business.

Several teams have made similar statements. Also, our management has also said that they would like to re-sign their good players - and many of them will cost a s**t-load of money. So, don't see how they have being cheap. You know, salary cap may come back as soon as next year. It will not be very wise to go out and spend a lot of money and then have to let go of players like Davis and Willis over next couple years.
