Yeah, I figure they did it cause of no cap in 2010, they did this before, but it was brief, then they re-did the site, and you just needed to sign up and then you could see the numbers, but they have taken it down, so.... they are being more corporate, i wish they were more like MLB or NBA, they release numbers each year.

Yes he did, but it was an internship and he didn't get the position full time.
Thanks Jason for the work you did over the course of the last 5 years. It was appreciated. Now maybe you can find a real job.

AB, i don't know what to say except that you, for the first time, actually made the goings on at 49er Avenue comprehensible. Previously, i had paid little attn to what we were doing from a "can we do it" or "should we do it " standpoint, and putting numbers, really good numbers to the rest of the needs, really put a different light on things, eg: "we need that OG in FA but if we bid for him, then we can't sign any of our draftees" As you recall, there was a time, maybe 7 yrs back or so, when we were the most upside down team in the league. Well, you enabled all of us to see that "if we do
this, then we can't afford that". It put a very different look on draft, FA, etc, and allowed all of us to see what mgmt was looking at and what choices they had. In a brief sentence, you allowed us to understand the rest of the story, and all of us, especially I, really enjoyed and learned from all your hard work, which obviously was a labor of love. I will sincerely miss your fascinating writings and insights, especially at this time of yr, but know you will add to the discussion in other ways, as you have done before. Congratulations on a fine run, AB, and my heartfelt thanks for your dedication and work. You are truly a 49er fan in the best sense of the word fan. It is going to be a shame not to have your input on the cap issues. You deserve a break, and maybe that's what the no cap season was for...to give you some time off. Best regards, Larry Stanton
