Would love to find the beer stand at the stick that serves these $5.25 beers....

For 2010, the average price per game for season-ticket holders will increase by 4 percent to $74. Also, three new tiers will be added to the six already offered.
I'll bet that the cheap seats get cheaper while the expensive seats increase more than 4%.
Mine are $98 apiece, so they'll end up being around $104? I can live with that. As long as they don't raise the parking pass price.

Don;t know, bro-ham. I'm betting that the top-tier $98 tix go up more, while a new $20 tier is added. In other words, since it appears that the team is going to 9 ticket tiers, I'd wager that the extreme prices will see the biggest change.

I'm not trippin'. Reason why is that if and when they get a new stadium, I'm not going to be able to afford the PSL not to mention the ticket prices. So i'm going to enjoy my season tix while I can.
Eventually I'm going to have to buy tickets off StubHub like a shnook.

The Niners did that pricing change a few years ago which brought down the AVG in SF, yet if you want to go to games and sit in good seats you'll have to pay more. My season tickets are also 84/seat.

more like, they have a lost "home-game" to make up for...
This isnt true here. The NFL is going to credit the 49ers for the 10th game that is being played in London. They will make what is the avg amount for the 7 other regular season games sold.

Exactly. Remember that the "average" price is not any one fixed price that we pay. For people who want a decent seat they are paying 80+.
I think the average price is a pretty bad indicator since it can ne skewed by extreme lows or highs. Better might ne to compare LR (or equivalent) ticket prices across stadiums or have a median ticket price.

Then the Niners actually finish WAY low on the totem pole.
There is no such thing as a "premium" ticket in the current pricing structure, which shaves about $50 off of the Niners vs. the competition for LR tickets between the 30s, and if you were to prorate the PSL cost over a 3-5 year hold, the gap would be even wider.
Median ticket prices would be a worse indicator than the mean...only because it would cut too big a break to really pricey teams like the Pats and Cowgirls.
Just saying. I pay less than $50 face for my seats, and I have a great view of the field. Just saying. It could be a lot worse, folks. A whole lot worse.

Probably because the fans would yank the Stick down and keep a piece of it on their mantel at home...
...ooooooooohh I just had a FANTASTIC idea.
When the Stick finally DOES come down The Yorks should have lots of pieces put aside and engraved.
They did that for the Teak decking that came from my ship when it was recommissioned. Only plank owners(recommissioning crew) have the actuall decking from the ship.
I think that would be a hell of a memento on my mantel. An engraved chunk of the Stick. Would love to have a folding seat but those are kind of difficult to get away with in lots of homes. The wives would go through the yard arm. lol
Sorry didn't mean to threadjack, it was brainstorm that was too good to keep to myself.

They froze 'em last year, so this was t be expected. Our ticket prices are still among the lowest in the league.
I was at the Bears 9ers game when the pass went through TO's hands and it was run back for a TD in OT yeah anyway those tix were like $55 after the stadium remodel you couldn't touch those same seats for under $85
The Niners are still below the NFL average for fan cost index. Our tickets cost half what the Cowboy's tickets do, and are almost $45 cheaper than the Patriots on the average. To put it in perspective...its more expensive to watch the Bucs play a game than it is to watch the Niners.
you are right AJ, My buddy has Panthers season seats and theyare $198ea.
Ya well the front office could kiss my a$$ if they were anywhere near this. How many season ticket holders do you think they would lose if they went anywhere near this?? Already probably one quarter+ of the seats at the Stick are owned by corporations, ticket agencies, and large groups with blocks of 20+ seats that use them as gifts and perks.
Just who do you think will own the rest pretty much if they went this high? Right, you know. It will be like Super Bowl crowds; about 9% real football fans and the rest corporate sleazeballs in poly slacks.. I know, I've been to 3 of the Niners SB's and ONLY on hte Gold Rush bus could I find actual football fans..
Thei whole subject makes me sick to my frickin stomach.. BLEAH!!!

well our season DID end in January this year. the only obvious form of appreciation to the organization is to pay more for our seats.
