The Gold Rush Costume Design Thread

Since a certain number of our members have expressed an interest in uniform design I thought it might might prove useful to provide them with an alternative outlet for their creative costume designing energies.

Yup, you can now utilize sheer fabrics and sequins. Have at it, boys! Design next year's Gold Rush outfits.

While Red and Gold should be a design theme, I doubt very much that any of us would mind seeing elaborations on the black themes that proved popular in the jersey thread. I think the Gold Rush is a great venue in which to prototype those ideas. Also, bear in mind that we are in tough economic times and resources are scarce, we hope that you reflect that in your costume designs.

In before the lock? That's harsh!

These fellows have a ton of creative ideas, I'm just trying to give them a venue to express themselves--along with the use of sequins and fluffy feathers.
