Davis is a fun guy, like him better all the time.
Smith would have to study the nature of ice crystals for three years and then he would sweep too late and the stone would grind to a halt.
Raye would say just to throw it harder, sweeping wasn't necessary.
Sing would motivate the rock to slide further than it thought was possible.
The Yorks would release an artist's rendition of a future curling stadium.

No, folks it's not April 1st ... 49ers TE Vernon Davis will serve as honorary captain for U.S. curling team in Winter Olympics.

What exactly is curling?
You push some rock and try to get it stop in the circle?
What's so hard about that?
I mean, at least golf, the hole is extremely small.

it has to travel quite a ways. its like shuffleboard. you have to put just the right amount into it for it to not go too far or too short. the brushing part changes the texture of the ice, allowing it to move faster or slower on the way to adjust

"Davis is about as pure an athlete as they come, blessed with size, speed and good hands. The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder is an NFL standout at all of 25."
