Vernon Davis/ "You don't wanna catch VD". I was thinking about that as vernon was smoking down the sideline for his nfl record tying 13th. Flash 80 was okay, but a little funky, maybe. But "You don't wanna catch VD" is not just a reminder to DBs, it is also a public service reminder to our youngsters. Was going to post this earlier in yr, and then i thot, aw heck, let's see what he does by end of season...turns out, he didn't do all that bad.

If you set aside Vernon's 'positional' duties, and look at the fact that since Davis slimmed down a bunch last Summer, he practically looks to be athletically built like a Moss/TO-sized wide-receiver!
That's one thing I can't hate about Raye, he's utilizing Davis to his max potential.

I think that was a wheel route he ran too. He started off on the LOS and not split out wide.
