Why, because he is inexperienced? doesn't call plays? "hired" Raye? is black?

If Roman would've covered what's his name better, and if VD would've caught the TD against the Seahawks, we would be in the playoffs right now, and everybody would be all over Sing's nuts. It's not his fault we are not in the playoffs.

The Run game just isn't there coming from the Power I. An antiquated system as it is, it's even more so when you don't have a Line that can knock fools off the ball.
We would have been better served running from the spread and OCCASIONALLY going to the Power I to option, screen, reverse and Run the ball.
Maybe THAT's why all the hate on Sing?
And Sing not an X's and O's guy? I really doubt that. Because that is what made the man a HoF player. He even said it back when I was a kid that he wasn't the biggest or fastest Linebacker, but he made up for it by studying film and by looking over scout diagrams and translating that on the field.
I know that he does that for this team but like Alex I think that he has to KNOW something before he reacts. There's nothing wrong with that imho, because he does change when confronted. Nolan would NEVER have made the change to the Spread during the season. Which above any other issue hindered his coaching career. I think that Nolan will get another shot and sooner than many around here think. But Sing is learning as he goes.
Not that it will make him a HoF candidate as a HC, but it will make our team better in the long run.
Not that I agree with Sing's detractors. I just understand the process.

He has a bum at right tackle. Snyder is so bad!
As for Sing. This year was disappointing, however, that does not mean we underachieved. I believe with the talent we have 8-8 or 9-7 is about right. Get a couple of pieces together in the off-season and then we will look more like a 10-6 team (talent wise).

I still say our Line should look like this Sims, Rachal,Baas(or another Center candidate)Heitman,Staley. Sims was truly a BEAST at the LT spot. Staley is solid at RT and can pull to the strong side as well as trap at the RT spot. Rachal has his moments. I sincerely feel he's better suited at LG than RG. Heitman is just NOT a Center. He's great with the terminology and poor with the execution. A much better fit at RG where Smith can SEE the pressure and can better protect himself should EH give up the PoA. The only question being who is the Center. Baas was drafted with Center in mind if I recall correctly. So He and Heitman should be working over time during the Offseason to get the guy up to Speed. Baas also has the Demeanor to back it up.
Pretty much the talent that we DO have on the Line has been misused for far too long. Given that the talent we have at the skill positions have been misused it makes sense that the Line is also a victim of bad coaching. We also need a freakin Line Coach that understands PoA and snap timing. It's clear to me at least that Foerster doesn't get it. If he DID get it his resume would not be filled with crap Line pedigrees. I bet I could do a better job than that schmuck. I can't see how our Line gets REPEATEDLY beaten off the ball as well as high centered by the Opposing DLinemen. But it happens in most of the games and it affects the perimeter blocking by the TEs' and RBs' cause they don't know WHO to take on as a result. If I know who my assignment is I can better protect my QB. But when you are taking on 8-9 guys and nobody knows who to block? It's a Clustergrope all the way around. You're gonna looking like a bunch of monkeys trying to impregnate a Football and no better.

because his conservative philosophy cost us the season, Raye should have never been hired, we'd have Linehan but he didn't want to deal with Singletary's run run run punt vision of the offense
I just don't have faith in him. Don't tell me show me

Once Shannahan became available Sing was going to be on a short leash. A lot of fans were torn b/w his promotion. Some dislike is warranted but I feel a lot is unwarranted because of who is available.
wtf did Shanahan do before his back-to-back SB's?
Elway and Davis were garbage, obviously Shanahan made them who they were...
He couldn't even win a playoff game after they retired, and if it wasn't for Davis he would've had 0 SB's on his resume.
A guy that took a team on his back to several superbowls was garbage? ARE YOU SERIOUS? I dont like Elway but he is better then some nobody you paint him out to be. So tell me what did Shanny do after Elway retired? Win ONE playoff game over a 10 year span. Yes lets bring that here!

Raye is the one who stuck with this power running offense, if Raye would've told Sing that this isn't working, I have no doubt that Sing would've changed it.
He was a defensive player, not an offensive player, there's a difference when you study on how to PREVENT the offense. If he was a QB, that wouldn't make him a great defensive minded player, would it?
He also played for the Bears, who were known for their defense not offense, so it's hard to criticize the guy for not knowing that much offense; now if our defense sucked too, then we would have a problem.
Hopefully he spends more time this offseason with the offense, and I believe he will learn from his mistakes.
ANY DAY, i'll take a great defense over a great offense, any day; history is with me on this.

what are we women?
Like I said, 2 plays away from the playoffs, a batted pass by Roman, and the TD catch by VD, and everybody would be swinging on Sing's nuts; not his fault that it didn't happen. I hold the players much more accountable than I do Sing, and that's the way it should be.
People don't criticize Phil Jackson if the Lakers lose.
