Ya, it is only blacked out if you are within 80 miles. They don't just black it out country wide as that would be pointless.

yeah the purpose of local blackouts is to punish the hometown area for not spending the money to come support the team, and just sit at home and watch it for free.

I heard on KNBR that they're expecting less than 20,000 at the game.

If you have sunday ticket you will get the game. Either locally or through the ticket. But you will get it 100% guaranteed. Otherwise what would the point of sunday ticket be?

Sunday Ticket is designed for fans who live away from the local area.
If you live in the local area you'll be geographically blocked based on your service address if you're in the local market.

Wrong! I have had sunday ticket for 5 years now. Every game is shown, if not locally then on the ticket!

No way. Sunday ticket holders have already paid for watching games. There is no reason to be the target of blackout.

If the OP lived in the St. Louis area then the game would be televised on the local network and NOT DTV [and that includes NFLST] , therefore it would be subject ALL NFL blackout rules...

Guess that is what happens when a team loses 24 out of last 25 games.
