true it is college but i dont think anyone would complain if we got urban meyer, pete carrol, jeff tedford, belotti from oregon or the HC from Boise state to be our OC instead of raye. oline technique should be the same whether its pro or college. foerester was a loser everywhere he went, do u know why he is a niner coach? because he has a link to baltimore. thats the only reason nolan brought him here. someone posted up his oline's stats from everywhere he went and they all stunk

Foerster does need to be replaced, his work with the niners is the same as the rest of his track-record...terrible. We do need a better OL coach, but our DL coach would not be the right move IMHO.

He's done a great job with our DL...I wouldn't move him to the OL. As for Foerster, I'd say it's partly him and partly the players he has to coach. To be honest, I don't see Baas, Rachal or RT by committee as part of the OL moving forward. We need upgrades at all three positions. Only Staley and Heitmann look like permanent starters to me.

At last, two new guards.
Someone get the uniforms, though

Very true, but is also a statement how desperate we are as fans to see this vital part of our team fixed immediately!

Bad idea.
How about this? Why don't we hire an actual OL coach with a extensive pedigree and demonstrated ability to develop, coach and build a cohesive OL?
Besides, I like the job that Tomasula has done as DL coach.

I completely agree. We do need a change with our OL coach. I feel there is talent on our OL. These guys are all 1st and 2nd round picks.

USC or Stanford's OL coaches are legit prospects for the job. Otherwise, we can wait and see who available during the offseason coaching moves. Joe Bugel of the Redskins is someone to keep an eye on.
I agree with GEEK.
How'a'bouts one of these
guys

We should hire Phil Jackson as head coach since he's good at winning championships.
