No, if they weren't the worst franchise in football, we would have lost. 6 turnovers? and they are still only two scores away at the end of the day.

who the f*ck feels good about that reality?

NO. a. smith's stats weren't great, he still sucks on 3rd down, going in to the half 6-3 & with the D getting 3 t.o.s' in a half. 20 total pts with 5 or 6 t.o.s' isn't good neither. smith is also still over or under throwning targets.

Indeed. It's pathetic. Our D is stopping the opposition, and our O is stopping themselves. Next year can't get here fast enough.

No the OLine still sucks, the play calling still sucks and the pass rush is still non existant against good teams.

I was pretty neutral on Sunday. That said, I'm happy about any victory. Im upset we arent in the playoffs but I'm happy we will actually finish 8-8 barring a total meltdown against the Rams.

The Bad

We are not in the playoffs
Offensive line still blows
Alex Smith, while much improved, is stil a "?"
Sing & Raye are "?" as well if you think about it.

The Good

Won't have a losing season for first time in 7 years
Smith will be .500 at the end of the season which is good for his confidence
VD & Gore's milestones.
We have a defense
We will finally get some continuity
We have a legit #1 WR
Franchise finally realizes games are won in the trenches no matter how many play makers you draft or sign.
