How about all of us fans protest and let it be known to the Yorks that they either need to get some proven coaches and staff to run this team asap or they need to sell this team to someone who will make this happen. Enough of these half ass coaching searches where we end up with dennis erickson, mike nolan, and mike singeltary. They didn't put any time, effort, thought, or much money into the hiring of any of these weak ass head coaches. They haven't done much to help improve our staff, our stadium, or our talent level because they are lazy, cheap, and obviously don't care enough. Meanwhile the Yorks, the staff, and all of the players are making wonderful amounts of money off of all of us fans who continue to provide for this pathetic display of football. Now, I don't exactly know how we can persuade them to sell the team and I don't know how to begin a movement, but I would like to make it clear that this may be necessary in order for the improvement and a return to glory for this once proud franchise. We must let the Yorks know that we are very discontent with the product that we have seen on Sundays for the past 8 years. The Yorks need to know that they either need to stop being cheap lazy asses and bring in some people who know what they're doing, or they need to stop being selfish and sell this team fast! Who's with me?

But that's the thing, we are not.
When it come to that, the HC is responsible, period, end of discussion as my Dad would say.
Jed needs to listen and pay attention.

The Giants just won. How did this happen for them, but not for you?
1. Ownership that cares. They are actual fans of the team. They bought it to keep the team from going away. The bought it with real money they earned elsewhere.
Compare to the York ownership experience, ownership taken over because of family feuds and given as a gift to a kid, not far from his first bicycle.
2. A team who built their own stadium, with their own money, a beautiful facility.
Compare to the Yorks, wanting taxpayers to buy them a stadium down next to an amusement park and some box stores. And suspicions they actually plot to take it to LA.
3. The Giants have hired a string of well-known and good managers like Baker, Alou and Boche.
The Yorks have hired...well, increasingly worse coaches actually, culminating in a incompetent who motivated the young owner with tales of mystical teams of lore (or a deep voice per Lowell Cohn).
4. The Giants assembled a brilliant pitching staff, comparable to QBs on a football team.
The Yorks gathered up A. Smith and some other guys, one of whom may possible have some potential.
5. The Giants play 162 games, a long season. They have winning streaks and losing streaks, but the players all stay together and grind it out, day after day in a sport where failure and demotion is part of the deal.
The York's team...can you imagine Giants players throwing their uniform down and quitting...! Really, where else does that happen, in any sport?
So, Yorks, just copy what the Giants do. It is not like inventing the wheel because it has already been done.
Or, simply sell the team to competent owners who care. Don't hold onto the team like Cohan held onto the Warriors, afraid that the new owner will make you look bad. Get the money, great return on your investment, and move on to something else.

Nice comparison. York's need to take a page out of the Giants front office.

a team takes on the personality of their coach.
the players of this team are taking off their jerseys. because mike singletary took off his pants.

You can't compare the Yorks to anybody else. They are one of a kind owners.

At first I thought you were talking about the NY football Giants.

the yorks are CHEAP! won't pay for a decent coach, i mean we still don't even have a general manager for pete's sake. They also never take accountablility for the horrible product we are subject to. IT STARTS AT THE TOP

The 49ers fans including the community in Santa Clara, should not support a new stadium until then.

what if we all stop showing up to the 49ers games, maybe york will realize he sucks when he make no money from the fans when they dont go to the games anymore.

If we keep going on this trend, I would like to see Jed pull the trigger. We can't expect to keep doing the same thing and expect different results. He fired Nolan midway through the season, so he may need to part ways with Sing. He might even be calling head coach candidates now...
I will admit I disliked Denise and John York, as they did not seem to care about the team at all. Jed seems more involved, and has shown the ability to pull the trigger (i.e. fire nolan). Let us hope he does not wait too much longer...

Damn good idea. I agree. Browns fans are doing it. I agree because that will hurt them in their pockets. This is pathetic. it's embarrassing being a niner fan.

YEs but Jed fell in Love with Singles, so it's not saying to much about him
