You know if you heard him this morning and you could tell he was trying to ease it up because and even tried to back track a little:
Talking about staying cool on the road and the QB being a key factor in road games.
I'm paraphrasing:
"If you put an apple on someone's head and Steve and Joe could hit it, but if you put a gun to their heads, Joe was always calm under those situations."
He was basically saying that but he was completely breaking it up and disjointed while saying it.

Yeah he was but he included Steve when he really didn't need to. Of course it was not his intention but we all know who performs well when the pressure is on.
Let us hope Smith helps us get a win against a team that has owned us these few years.
