That was an inexcusable play from a veteran like gore in a critical point in the game. He's coughed it up waaay too many times in the 4th quarter during his career here. At the very least a 6 point swing.
How did it cost the game when it led to a FG for Seattle that TIED the game? We had oppurtunities after the fumble to win but didnt execute.

I agree yesterday our smashmouth OL didn't give Gore much daylight to work with. Yet they looked stellar in pass protection. Go figure
Only because the Shotgun formation doesnt require STELLAR protection.

i can't believe some reaction today. this team cannot run, at all. it's that simple. they cannot run. they have to abandon it. their offense is being productive now. they tried to run most of the year and failed miserably. they made too many mistakes yesterday, but this offense is WAY better than it was under hill (when we tried to run too much).

Frank Gore is no longer the focal point of our team. He has been for the past 4 years and we have gotten nowhere. It's now Smith/Davis/Crabs who are the focus. Times are a changin', get with it.

Quick thought, what if we gave Gore ten more carries, and trade em for those dropped passes.
