That would have been a ridiculously tough catch to make. Probably would have been taken out on a stretcher if he laid himself out to catch that one.

This play is no one's fault. Alex had to throw it early because of pressure and Crabtree didn't see it coming until it was just about to pass his head.
If anything, it's more Crab's fault because he's running a slant and needs to look sooner being the hot read. However, he's only a rookie and probably misjudged the timing of the route. He will come through with expreincing the timing of these types of routes more and more.

People need to stop with the Crabtree pussed out. That's not what happened. Crabtree made a rookie mistake by not anticipating the ball soon enough.

alex throw the ball early, crabs wasn't expecting it, the play was designed for the back of the endzone, but we didn't give alex enough time to wait for crabs to run the route.
