Candelstick park seating question

I know maybe wrong forumn but I was hoping for a quick response. Im making my first trip to San Fran next week and I will be going to the Monday night game vs Arizona. My friend says he has tickets lined up and I had a question if any of you knew the seating chart and could help me. The ticket is for section 17, row B, it looks like it is near the end zone but it kind of curves around (http://www.inthestadium.com/images/seatdata/NFL_SF_chart.jpg)

Just curious to see if anyone knows if those are good, average, decent or bad seats. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The seats I usually sit in are in Section 15 Lower box, Row G. Your seats will be just off the corner of the South End zone, two rows off the field. You are opposite the scoreboard, so you will be able to see any replays. Anything from the 50 yd line in going South will be coming right at you. Going the other way, you will be basically at field level behind the play.

I went on 49ers.com for their multimedia seating chart and it looks pretty good but I just wanted to get some personal opinions if people here have sat in that or around that section personally and what they thought.

It's going to be cold no matter where you sit.

I'm fired up about the cold. I'm just praying that it doesn't rain.

Oh for sure. I'd much rather it be cold than hot, especially where I sit. But you're right, rain would suck, although it might provide a disadvantage for AZ.

The Chron is calling for three major storms though the week. Could be raining at the Stick.. I've been in some heavy duty rain there many times. Important thing, wear good rain boots so the feet are dry..

I go to almost every game, and I can't remember the last time it rained hard at the Stick. Too many spent brain cells maybe.

I'm thinking it was the Bush Bowl.

Those are great seats. I have season tickets in Sec 17 Row I. Great close up on players as well as you still get a landscape view of the field. Bigger bang for your buck there. See you there.

Bro, I remember one game in particular, I believe it was a Steelers game. It was raining so hard there were mega waterfalls cascading off the top deck down into the top of my Lower East section, it was incredible.

At the beer stand the staff was standing in a raging torrent, and the stand I buy at had a waterfall coming off the ramp above falling directly into the beers they put on the counter for us. It was freakin hilarious I'll tell ya. Steelers won that game so we were way hammered and before they turned the beer off we just stood under the waterfalls from the top deck in our rain suits drinking beers that turned into water and laughing.

What about the Rams-Niners NFC Champ game, absolutely torrential in the lot, then like an omen, the clouds parted and we had a glorious beautiful day. Everett took THE PHANTOM SACK, remember?

The playoff Vikes game we lost, rain , but more, "The Fizzle In The Drizzle", Chron headline, that game really sucked big time.

I can think of more but, that's prolly about enough. So yes, there has been lots of rain.. Of course like you, I can't remember em all either

This was the main reason I taped them all and came home and watched what I missed. Haaaa..
