After watching our offense score 10 points against them I don't think they want Singletary's approach on offense with Jay Cutler as the QB. Imagine Jay and Sing after Cutler throws a pick or two or 5?

he couldnt even if he wanted to. hes under contract, and for a lateral move, the 49ers would have to give the Bears permission to interview him, which they wont do.

Won't happen.
When Sing decided to get into coaching he talked to the Bear's front office and said he was going to be available as a coach. He never heard back from them.
They had their chance and won't get another one. I think Sing will be a great coach, simply because he'll be able to get the most out his players. Hopefully he can also do the same for his assistant coaches and the coordinators.

Yup, we'd have to trade him to them like the Raiders did with Gruden in 2002.
Can't trade coaches anymore.
I didn't even realize a coach ever was traded in the NFL. What did they have to give up to get him?

I think it was 2 first rounders and a bunch of money.

my personal favorite coaching trade was M's dealing Lou Piniella to the Devil Rays for Randy Winn. always a classic.
