Hoping to get Steve Wisnewski as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach....

So basically the only position(s) left on the staff to fill is Tight End's Coach and Special Teams coach. Just read something scary....Harbaugh is considering keeping Kurt Schotenheimmer as ST's coach. Say it ain't so! Would rather bring back Ulbrich as a special teams coach or anyone else. Also curious to see who Harbaugh brings in as Offensive/Defensive Assistant and Quality Control coaches.

Any word on potential TE coach candidates/interviews?

What's wrong with Schottenheimer?

Our ST was so much better this season than last season. Did we even give up a punt/kick return TD? Or fumble a punt/kick return?

leaf just flat out sucked, no coaching was gonna help the guy if he didnt put out the effort to get better

Umm... Jim Harbaugh is probably going to be hands on with the quarterbacks.

I know nothing about this Geep guy, but he was Jim's quarterback's coach.

I'm gonna go with Jim's judgment on this one.

No it was not. We had a flag almost every time we kicked the ball and our coverage units were not very good. Of course it did not help that we got rid of our best ST's player (MRob)

49ers ask to speak with Paul Chryst

"UW athletic director Barry Alvarez said Wednesday that the San Francisco 49ers have sought permission to speak to Chryst, who is good friends with Jim Harbaugh, the newly hired coach of the NFL club."

"It was reported Wednesday that Harbaugh has hired Chryst's brother, Geep, to coach tight ends and quarterbacks. Geep had been a NFL assistant at Carolina and has been friends with Harbaugh dating back to their days with the Chicago Bears when Harbaugh was the quarterback and Chryst a quality control assistant.

Paul Chryst has expressed a desire to coach with his brother someday."

Seems like Harbaugh is putting together a staff full of "super friends", whom he has had through his years as a player and coach. I hope it works out better than the 80's cartoon.
