I cant find a clear cut answer. Can the Niner's make the playoffs if they sweep the division? Or is it overall record? So if the Cards have a better overall record but the Niner's go undefeated in the division who makes the playoffs?

That's college where the division record determines the winner, and over-all record is ignored.
