We hired our Jimmy not knowing we were going to get Crabs

I think we screwed pooches or...whatever... when we hired Raye.
Well, everybody in the world thought that the raihdeeehs were going to get Crabtree, and lol oh man.. then theres' that.

We hired Raye, with the thought that even if for some odd reason, we got Crabtree, Raye would go with the sure thing, and emphisizessessss the run, and Crabs would likely sit out the first season.

SING WENT WITH CRABS, BUT NOW HAS TO STICK UP FOR HIS BOY RAYE, AND THAT IS COSTING HIM RESPECT.

True, but we'd be better utilizing a spread offense even without Crabtree. This team just simply can't run Raye's normal offense with any consistency.

He's onto something, actually. We hired Jimmy Raye to implement a smashmouth offense. Chances are, we were going to draft Michael Oher, which would've solved our Tackle problem by replacing Adam Snyder's crusty ass. Who knows where this team might be without Adam Snyder getting blown up like a car in a Iraq every play.

Seriously though.

The train of thought was to get a DE (O'sackpo) or an Oline guy (Oher), but just maybe , maybe if Crabs fell to us, get him no matter what.


Play it safe because the odds of getting Crabs before the raiders was slim and none, so get an O.C. that implements the run.


Why implement the run?


Because Gore can break it through weekly


Running the ball eats up time

Running the ball weakens and tires defenses

Running the ball sets up playaction because S.Hill (pre the NEW Alex Smith,
btw thanks to Sing for throwing in Smith quickly, because Nolan would've waited a year)can't throw the deep ball.
