I still think Clements is our best corner. Can't wait to get him back.

Nate is a top corner in the league. Teams respect him and he can cover just about anybody. Hes both physical and quick. People would be dumb to not realize how huge of a loss he truly is. We werent the only team willing to pay him that money so that should tell you something right there.
true but people do forget his overall skills just because he is not a shut down guy. he is a pro bowl calibar CB and people on here like to blame him alot but it is obvious he is missed on D and that is the posters point.
I get the point. I agree with it also. I just hate when people start saying he is over paid and not even a top 5 or 10 CB. That is not true at all and we need him back but I wouldn't rush him like we've done other players. He is needed for the long run.

1.) Nate Clements didn't deserve the money he got signed for.
2.) No CB in the league deserved the money he got signed for, but it got him to come here.
3.) Nate Clements was a great, though not elite, cornerback when he got here.
4.) Nate Clements isn't AS good, but he's still a very good CB here, and can shut-down an elite WR if he's provided with support.
5.) As he gets older, I'd like to see how he does at safety.
I agree that I think our defense misses his run-stopping ability.

Co-signed. We need him, that's the bottom line. He's one of those vet players who knows how to play his position and gets guys fired up.

Its true! We were giving their WRs way to much respect and cushion. At least Nate can play bump and run and rough up the WR. I didnt see our corners imposing their will at all. I think its safe to say Nate is by far our best corner. Nate May get burned but thats because he is being aggressive and trying to make a play. When Nate gets burned at least he is in the tv frame being aggressive. All I saw yesterday was our guys getting burned and not playing aggressive. Even Sing challenged his corners to start the 2nd half.

Think the CB play has saved Nate's job. We need him bad, we win the Titian's game if he is playing.

The guy can make tackles but he would have given up an 80 yarder for sure

Nate can't cover anymore. He can hit, he just can't cover the elite Wr's anymore.

Our DB's wouldn't have had such a bad day it we were able to convert 3rd downs and control be ball, 1 of 13 is terrible.
