I don't know where the defense went in the 2nd quarter. That 2nd quater was brutal for both sides of the ball.

The main problem is that Manny and Parys are almost worthless in the 3-4. Bronw got exposed badly today his hips aren't fluid at all.

The D misses Nate Clements. Not his coverage as much as his tackling. The D played way better earlier in the year.

Same exact problems every year. Zero pass rush, worst OLB's of any 3-4 team, pathetic coverage esp, in the middle of the field with Willis and the 2 safeties, CB's play 20 yards off the LOS, defense, can't contain the edges with fast backs, predictable defense (vanilla), Mark Roman is still on the team, Michael Lewis is still one-dimensional and slower this year, etc. piss poor d-line in short yardage esp. at the goal line (anywhere inside 9 yards of the goal line), etc. So, yeah, defense stinks but most ppl focus on the offense b/c they are actually worse.
You are correct, sir......sad but true. It's time for Scotty to go....

and you know when our four leading tacklers are the 4 starting DB's, our front 7 were getting handled.

The defense is probably tired of an offense that's 31st in 3 and outs.

Ya, the D should have done a much better job. But I don't blame them. I blame the horrible OC and HC we have.
How many more games are we going to lose like this? It's painfully obvious that this offense cannot run a traditional pro style offense. This offense actually works playing out of the shotgun with spread formations, but Raye and Sing are determined to try running a power offense at the start of EVERY FREAKING GAME. Once the game is out of reach, then they want to actually play what FITS the offense. HORRIBLE COACHING, HORRIBLE PREPARATION game after game.
Look at the play-by-play stats at NFL.com. In the 1st half, the only shotgun formations I saw were on 3rd down. In the 2nd half, ALMOST EVERY PLAY was in the shotgun. And you know what happened??? The offense actually MOVED the ball....The offense actually SCORED touchdowns.
I know alot of people, including Sing, will just say that the offense looked better because GB changed their defense after halftime. That might be true, but it doesn't matter IMO. Raye and Sing should be running a scheme that fits these offensive players, and the spread/shotgun FITS THESE PLAYERS!!!!!!! When are they gonna get it through their thick skulls that this is NOT a power running team?? How many more games are we gonna give away because Sing doesn't want to admit he was wrong about this team.
GOD, I hate to say this, but I miss Martz.

You been saying this all day. He did have a bad game. He had more coverage duties today, and looked bad. He missed tackles, yes. But to turn on our best player, and call him a scared little b***h, is overdoing it. NIce.

no its not overdoing it, he stunk it up, im not saying trade him or anything i still love the guy, but his defense was horrible say all you want about how tired they were or whatever but the fact is the offense finally got some points on the board and made it a game and when the D needed to come up big and get the offense the ball back one last time they failed big time jsut like they always do this year, they fail on 3rd downs and they failed in this game.
