Positives we can expect
The team to be called the San Francisco 49ers
A modern stadium that doesn't smell like a giant port-a-potty.
Better stadium access from 280, 880, 680 and 101, CalTrain, Amtrak, VTA.

Negatives we can expect
Higher ticket prices/PSL's
Higher concession prices
Probably sharing our new home with the Raiders

Sharing the stadium with the Raiders basically destroys the whole thing.

Every square inch of that place is going to be tagged up with "Raiders rule/suck" or "Niners rule/suck".

I'd rather they play at a local college or high school than share the stadium.

How are we going to share a stadium with the Raiders? That'll never happen.

The same way the Jet & Giants will be sharing their new stadium in 2010. It's not out of the question at all.

Yes the Raiders have a lease (which was just extended) to stay in Oakland through the 2013 season, which coincidently is the same year that the Niners lease with the City of San Francisco ends . . . . isn't that convenient?? . . . two NFL teams in one metropolitan area with stadium leases expiring before the 2014 season . . .

I'm sure it make sense to you, but yeah, I'm not seeing it. Their leases expire at the same time so that automatically means they're going to be playing in the same stadium? Who the hell wants to watch a Raiders game in Santa Clara? The reason a 49ers stadium works there is because there are thousands of fans that reside there or somewhere nearby.

Ya, big time ugly PSL's, enoy your time left at teh Stick where actual fans can get in and not just event freaks..

Whether they're fans or event freaks it would actually be a godsend to just fill a 49ers stadium to full capacity with a local crowd cheering in our favor!

-Our local/city fanbase is just atrocious, 50% of the stadium attendees last Thursday were f**king Bears fans!

Automatically? No. The Raiders recent lease extension is just the latest development that fits with a possible deal . . . and it's not like this hasn't been discussed before . . .

The reason the Santa Clara site makes sense is that it has a neutral identity within the Bay Area.

That is a pretty funny picture. Sense of humor, anybody? Lighten up... get laid, quit taking yourself so seriously. Or lay off the booze before sundown. You almost make me want to be a Raider fan.
Continued growth toward championship form.

Would the average Raider fan be able to find Santa Clara?
