As for that article I think it's f**king retarded. THe guy says Henne is a franchise QB? What? He hasn't proven anything yet. And Cutler's never been to the playoffs, neither has Rodgers, but they're playoff QBs? And he seriously underrates Matt Hasselbeck too. He's a good QB if he's on a good team, just like Warner is. The guy did a poor job all around IMO.

The question between whether to sit or play a young QB is unique to each circumstance. McCarthy knows Alex and realizes he lacks the confidence to survive the growing pains. To tell you the truth McCarthy wanted Rodgers, but was overruled by Nolan.
