who the hell is Jeff Hostler?

and when was 2007....if my memory serves me correctly, it was 2006, then 2008. I don't even remember 2007.

It's not that I blocked it out, it's that Jeff isn't his first name.

Jose Hostler?

Jesus?

I have been a Niner Fan since 81. Montana, Young, Garcia, Dorsey and Rattay were the QB's. I thought for a bit that Rattay would pan out but he didn't. When Rattay was the QB, the team was old and starting the transition to younger players here and there. Thats the closest comparison to the present Niner team IMO.

We have a unique situation here with Smith and company. The talent is starting to come together. I expect to see this team continue to grow and get back to its winning / dominating ways.

The 2006 49ers.

If there's any other team(s) that I can compare them to, it would be:

2007 Cardinals
1995 Patriots

Both teams made it to the Super Bowl the following year, but they had to go through some rough times first. I feel this team right now is on the verge of getting over that final hump.

Jose Hostler? Muhammad Hostler? Wang Hostler?

i hate it when we have an OC named Jim(my)
they really don'tproduce very much out of our offense
The 2009 Panthers. They have weapons but they only play well when their QB plays well. They have been in many winnable games, but have lost more than they should have because they haven't made enough plays or big drives when needed. Most teams look at them as a W on their schedule (same with niners). They have the talent to make the playoffs but are up and down all season.

If this team had a bunch of pro bowlers and all pros and were getting blown out, I'd agree with you, but underachievers they are not.

As bad as Hostler was, Im not so sure Jimmy Raye is any better. Hell, I can call an entire drive before it happens.............
Other. For sure.

we've almost outscored them with our D/ST...i would say carolina because we're only going as far as the o-line and qb take us
