Why even run it when you know your OLine won't get any push? Should have handed off to Norris and let him use his skill set to power through the blocks to get the extra inches. Or even better a PA to Norris with a quick dump to crabtree.

didnt help that alex also had a defender on top of his legs (with a 49er blocking him down) in a matter of seconds.

The question is, why was that play even called to begin with? QB sneaks are good if you're trying to get inches, not a full yard, especially with this OL.

This, with a full yard they are better off faking to Gore and slamming Norris up the middle or just running with Gore. Norris should be able to get us a yard...either way, we are not the team Singletary wants to be. We need a yard, we can't get it.

Yeah i disagreed with the playcall knowing that our line has been dominated the whole game.
The ball should have been in Gore's hands.

We want to run, and we can't run....unless....it's out of the shotgun.
That's the thing: we CAN be the team Singletary wants, but it's going to take some creativity and intelligence. The decision to run a QB sneak there was not creative or intelligent.
