Its not sad when you consider why.

Generally speaking west coast people have fuller and broader lives. Football is less of our life then fans on the east. Please realize, I am speaking in huge generalities here.

Thats why I don't think it is sad that not even East Coast Baseball or Football fans can compare with Southern Soccer fans; their daily lives suck compared to ours

Of course you can cheer when your team is on the field. Seems obvious the point of the original post was that you shouldn't be loud before the snap when the QB & line are calling signals and starting the snap count.
