We have done this twice in as many weeks now. I really like this strategy and the fact we get the ball after halftime. If we are down we get a chance to narrow the gap and if we are up we get a chance to put a lil more distance between us.
What do you guys think? deffer or receive?

rather defer, and play defense 1st and set the tone.

If we do something with the ball it's a great idea . . . last night we took the 2nd half kick-off, ran three plays and punted and got called for a personal foul on the punt return setting the Bears up at mid-field. Total waste.
That REALLY pissed me off . . . coming out of the locker room with that opportunity . . . and ending with that result.

Yeah that was a perfect time to come out and score 6. It would have just killed the bears.

Having the ball to start the 2nd half is preferable for me.

Considering how many points we've been putting up in the second half recently we need as many opportunities as possible on Offense to give us a chance

We just can't seem to score in the second half. Against Indy and Titans we score 14 and 17 pts respectively in the first half. In the second half, 0 and 7.
I am not sure why though a guess is the opponent is making adjustments and we are not making adjustments to their adjustments.

I think we are still the only team in the NFL that hasn't allowed a score by the opposing team during there first drive.

If we can actually come out of the locker room in the second half with a good offensiv gameplan than it would be much more effective.

Defer. If you enter the half with a slight lead, than it gives you the opportunity to begin putting the game away. We had that opportunity last night, but simply failed to execute.
And if you enter the half behind, than it gives you a chance to get back in the game.

Thats the smart thing to do when your offense sucks balls.
The old niners teams always wanted the ball first. They would score TDs on the first 3 drives and the game would be over.
