It also helped to have Norv Turner as our OC calling the plays rather than his student.

Uh, I'm pretty sure it was Shaun Hill's killing of the Bengals.

Raye was coaching in the NFL way before Norv Turner and got Turner the WR's coaching posistion with the L.A Rams in 85. Turner repaid the favor hiring Raye as OC in Oakland (2004-2005) but the main reason was because he respected Raye very much. Also, Norv prior to that never hired an OC when he was HC, he had Cam Cameron and later Mike Martz as QB's coach with the Redskins and they were kind of co-coordinators but never had the OC posistion. I know Raye did not call plays while OC in Oakland but Norv relied and respected his opinion very much.

The thing about Alex is he has played half's of football. He has yet to play a complete game yet.

LOL, I forgot about that. Roman sure did have an INT in that game and I believe he had a nice return on it. A win I think we can get but wow your asking to much if you think Mark Roman is going to get another INT again

Agreed, he looks improved, just needs to cut down on the turnovers. I think with his work ethic he might work out.

How great would it be if the niners had a break out game against Singletary'd old team.
