We need to play Nate Davis 100% of 1 game and then decide how much each QB gets to play.

I honestly thought about it. It would be like baseball with pitching.
Bring out your starter. Have him give your team the lead. Then bring in the closer...who doesn't make mistakes and secures the win!

I'm not going to lie.... after that first INT Alex threw late in the 4th qtr......and our defense held them to a field goal...and it was a 7pt game.
we still had alot of time...and another chance to drive down field and score a TD to tie the game........ I was hoping Sing would bring in Shaun just for that drive......I didn't care if Sing started Alex the next game....I just wanted to win that game THAT BAD...we were winning...can't believe we lost...... but I guess it would have started a QB controversy if he drove down field and got a TD.

Good to see that some people are coming around to the idea.
Florida did it, they won a national title. We could play to the strengths of each QB, and the defense would be totally confused.

Like that really would have happened. Let's not get into a probability debate over it as I am sure you are smarter than that.

Lets just start over, get rid of Smith and Hill and draft Sam Bradford or Tim Hiller, Dan LeFevour in the 2nd and pick up Chad Pennington next year. And forget all this QB by committee talk.

I'm not saying Singletary should have....I'm saying I hoped...
I fully understand why Sing left Alex in there.....gave him a chance to redeem himself.
The only reason I felt that Sing might have made a controversial move like that is because, the old Sing I knew HATED Turnovers... he used to go bisserk....he threaten to Choke Shaun and was ready to bench him last year in that RAms game....even though Shaun did well the previous weeks.......that is how much hate Sing had for turnovers.......this year, it seems like it doesn't bother him much compared to last year.......
I mean those turnovers had a HUGE impact on our game...especially the 2 late 4th qtr ones....if he felt it wasn't Alex's fault about the INTs then he needs to bench Morgan.....Josh Morgan has done so much knuckle head things these past few weeks that besides the tip passes....should be benched for other things.... so what is it.....has Sing gone soft?

Chad pennington somebody else who can't throw the ball more than 20 yards..
let alone have a shoulder intact for a season

I was referring to Hill driving it down and winning the game for us. How many TDs did the man have this year? The offense couldn't even get a first down with him at the helm. I'll take the picks as long as we are trying to do something. I'll take reckless martz ball over conservative raye ball any day. I think eventually Alex can find his balance.
If you remember, what was Alex's biggest problem in the past? He was too careful with the ball and would hold on to it too long because he had to be sure someone was WIDE open before he threw it. Which would end up leading to turnovers and sacks or the infamous full sprint to the sideline with a throw away pass. Now he is just playing, but falling into old habits by being late with the ball. Something that is correctable. As teams get film on his tendencies, they will lock him down. He needs to be able to overcome them. And with everything he has overcome, it's safe to say there is a good chance he will.
He is still making good reads if even a tad late. There is hope for him yet. Now if he can review his game, make the necessary adjustments, then he will be alright. If he can't....

As far as the turnovers go, there is only so much hold onto the ball you could yell at your players for. The fact is, you could tell someone to go hit someone else in the mouth, but when that other person hits them back harder..... all your rah rah goes out the window.
Sing can only play who he has. He is running out of players to replace his knuckleheads with.
