AZ CARDS NINERS
Hawks Bears
@Rams Packers
@Titans Jaquars
Vikings @Seahawks
@49ers Crdinals
@Lions @Eagles
Rams Lions
Packers Rams
Ok, so maybe the cards lose to the Vikings and us, we have to win out and that Monday night against the Cards is HUGE!!!!!!!

It's possible they lose those 3 consecutive games starting with the titans, Vikings, then us .... If that's the case even if we lose One to Philly or anyone else we still get the tiebreaker

We have a 3 game home stand... its time to show the f**k up... If we lose to the Bears on Thursday its over. I say the Cards lose to us and to Vikings and i'm thinkin that Seattle will give them some problems this weekend.

We could still squeak into the playoffs if we get our heads out our asses and stop with the stupid turnovers. Arizona still has Seattle, Tennessee, Minny, and Green Bay.
...I could see them losing at least two of those. Thursday we'll see just how bad this team wants to play in the postseason.

I really don't know that we can. We needed at LEAST one of the Texans/Titans games, maybe both to go over .500 and have a shot at winning the division and/or making the playoffs.
Even if we win out in the division, here is the rest of the schedule.
We are 3-5.
Wins against the Rams, Hawks and Cards make us 6-5.
What's left are the Bears, Pack, Jags, Eagles and Lions.
If we can't beat the Titans, certainly we are no lock against even the Jags. And we haven't beaten a team outside of the division, let alone a team as good as the Bears, Pack or Eagles yet.
So, assume losses to the Pack and Eagles and a win against the Lions.
That's 7-7. Most likely we split the Bears/Jags games. That's 8-8, and that's assuming we sweep the division. Even if we do win one of the tougher games, realistically, we probably lose at least one game within the division at some point.
Anything better than 8-8 at this point would be a miracle, and even that is fairly optomistic. We REALLY needed wins against Houston and Tennessee.

Why are folks naming the Titans as if they are a tough challenge for any good team in this league. Cards gonna steam roll them

Because they just got their 2 starting CB's back, they were playing with rookies all season long that's why they were last in the league in pass defense. They are practically the same team as last year just without Haynesworth now.

Basically here is what needs to happen
AZ needs to lose to the Titans/Minnesota/49ers and then the Packers so they can end up 9-7. That means if we lose to the Eagles/Packers and win against everyone else that would leave us at 9-7 also and we would own the tiebreaker if we beat them both times. Of course that's being very optimistic.

I'm with Singletary when he said that he doesn't care about the Cards. I mean, if you think about it, we're only in control of what we can do as a team. So why stress about it? Instead of putting energy in hoping for a Cards loss, let's just concentrate on 49er wins.

7-1 or it's over and if they go 7-1 they will be rolling and looking like the team we all hope they'd be

Naw that was last year. Right now they are a crappy team with 2 wins and a lousy qb.

It not that complicated since the niners have one more game against the cards. In reality the niners need to make up 1 game before the cardinal game. First of all the niners have to string some wins. If they can do this there will be a week where AZ loses 1.
The only stretch in this situation is if the niners can string some wins together.

I see both the niners and cards finishing 10-6 with niners owning the tie breaker

AZ CARDS NINERS
Hawks Bears (A possibility right here.)
5-4? 4-5?
@Rams Packers (A chance to fall behind.)
6-4 4-6?
@Titans Jaquars (Another chance to make one up)
6-5 5-6
Vikings @Seahawks (We should come out on top)
6-6 6-6
@49ers Crdinals (A MUST WIN FOR US)
6-7 7-6
@Lions @Eagles (Not looking good)
7-7 7-7
Rams Lions (should break even)
8-7 8-7
Packers Rams (This favors us)
8-8 9-7

So the moral of the story is that all is not lost. If we beat the bears jags lions and cards we can win the division. If we can beat 2 of those teams and sweep the division we win the division. It doesn't seem unreasonable considering how we have played against better teams than all of those. Of course the kicker is the titans have to remain as good as they were and also that the Packers are as much of an enigma as we are.
BLUF, we do not control our destiny and we have to count on HOPE as a method.
