Due to Injury (I believe), the defense has gone from playing at a Top 5 caliber to middle-of-the-pack.
No way we would have beaten ARI and SEA with this defense.
O-Line is much worse now (due to injury) than when Hill was starting.

Shaun Hill Would've been 1-5 with this defense

O LINE and Defense are both MUCH WORSE than the way they started the year for a variety of different reasons.

Injuries have killed the secondary.

Much more than just that. The O LINE is decimated. It's ironic that Alex gets his 2nd chance behind the worst O LINE in 5 years. It's probably worse than when he was a rookie. And that's damn bad. We have 2 Tackles who can't block and 2 Guards who can't block.
How the hell is he supposed to succeed behind that?

Hill won, Alex hasn't. Stop making excuses. Hill wasn't turning the ball over 4 times which resulted in 24 points for the opposition.

Please...the INTs hit the WR's hands. Take a look at Alex's fumble and you'll see the dumb@ss RT who cant block for sh!t!!!! Please....Alex got the ball to the WRs and they NEED TO EFFIN CATCH IT!!!!
Hill would have gotten destroyed by Houston, if it weren't for Alex having to clean up.
Lets face it, with this horrible OL, NO QB WOULD LOOK GOOD!!

Alex's 2 picks in the 4th have nothing to do with the o-line they bad throws and bad decisions.

FACT: Smith completed 64.4% of his passes yesterday. One interception was all on him -- he was staring down the receiver. The other two were mostly on the receivers.
Give Smith an offensive line and let's see what he can do before condemning him to the depths of Hell.

IF Shaun would've been 1-5, Alex would've been 0-6.
Both QB's are not the future, PERIOD.

That isn't known. The oline is hurt and those in are not playing well. The defense isn't playing well at all so scoring 27 points isn't good enough which is crazy. We should have won that game if the defense play better. Giving up 34 points is crazy.
